Who are we?
Founded by filmmaker Summer Rhodewalt, this company was built from a love of deeply human storytelling and the belief that even the most ordinary moments can carry extraordinary emotional weight. Through grounded, emotionally honest filmmaking, we create stories that linger long after they end, inviting people to feel more connected to themselves, to others, and to the quiet beauty woven into everyday life.
Meet Summer
I’m drawn to stories that most people overlook — the quiet exchanges, unresolved tensions, fleeting joys, and ordinary moments that make up a life. My work lives in the space between the dramatic and the mundane, because I believe that’s where the truth of being human actually exists.
Film, to me, is not escapism. It’s observation. It’s a way of slowing down long enough to notice the weight of moments we usually pass by without thinking — a glance across a dinner table, silence after an argument, the comfort of routine, the ache of growing older, the small acts of love that rarely announce themselves.
I want to create films that leave people feeling more connected to themselves and to others. Stories that don’t shout their message but linger quietly after the credits roll. My goal is to make work that feels lived-in, intimate, and emotionally honest — films that remind people there is meaning even in the parts of life that seem ordinary.
As I continue growing through independent filmmaking and collaborative work in New York, I’m building toward creating a production company dedicated to human-centered storytelling: films that resonate deeply, endure emotionally, and say something truthful about what it means to exist alongside one another.
